The Co-Ops began in 1947 with six families from Philadelphia who spent their summers on Martha's Vineyard. Together, they formed a cooperative rooted in friendship, shared traditions, and the belief that life was meant to be shared.
Summer after summer, the Island became woven into the story of the group.
In 1958, the families purchased a shared home together. Over time, it simply became known as The Co-Ops, where family and friends gathered each summer.
Today, that history continues to inspire everything we create. Rooted in Martha's Vineyard, our pieces are designed to be lived in, worn often, and passed along.
